Team Texts Opt-In

Public proof of how people agree to receive transactional team-operations texts that a team admin or captain sends with Text from App. ALIGN Sports never sends marketing or promotional texts.

ALIGN Sports (ALIGN Apps, LLC) Text from App is a single transactional use case: team-operations notices such as schedule changes, game and practice times, locations, and similar team notices. A team admin or captain composes the notice in the ALIGN Sports mobile app and ALIGN Sports delivers it by SMS to opted-in roster phones. ALIGN Sports never sends marketing, promotional, advertising, or fundraising texts, and does not send password-reset codes, one-time passwords, or signup verification codes. People opt in with an unchecked consent box when they Join a Team or Create Team after entering name, email, and optional phone, or later in Notification Settings. Consent is not required to use the rest of the app.

• Fundraising or sponsorship pitches
• Password-reset codes, one-time passwords, or signup verification codes

How Text from App works

1. A team admin or captain opens Text from App in the ALIGN Sports app.
2. They type a transactional team-operations notice.
3. They tap Send. The app delivers that notice to opted-in roster phones.

This is not password reset, not a one-time passcode, not marketing, and not a message written by ALIGN Sports.

How to opt in

1. In the ALIGN Sports app, Join a Team or Create Team. Create Team collects full name, email, and optional phone on the same screen as an optional, unchecked Team texts box. The box is not required.
2. Or later: More → Notification Settings → Team texts. Check the box, then turn Team texts on. The destination number is the phone already on the roster profile.
3. Roster phone numbers are used. We do not buy lists. ALIGN Sports never sends marketing or promotional texts.

• Turn off Team texts in Notification Settings.
• Reply STOP to any team text sent through Text from App.
